We are a two person AAPI owned business, that handmakes each and every piece ethically and unique.
I started raving at 16 years old and my first "rave" was an all ages Zed's show at Wamu theater haha. I fell in love with raving and have been raving for about 6 years now. I've always supported other rave clothing shops and admired their talent to be able to make their own pieces, and eventually I thought to myself, why don't I try to express my individuality too?!
Originally the idea of RaveBae was just a hobby of mine! I fell in love with kandi making about half a year ago and loved the smiles on peoples faces after trading with them. I also loved it when other ravers would ask me where I got my perler pieces from to which I would proudly say, "I made it myself!".
I felt motivation to keep on learning more and more intricate pieces from some of my favorite content creators, and eventually my friends and my boyfriend encouraged me to start a small business out of my hobby.
Just half a year ago in August, I was suffering with post graduate depression and not knowing what to do with my life, until my boyfriend Zhaoqi convinced me to make a small business out of something that makes me happy. I never thought my business would be sucessful and kept doubting myself, until so many kind souls supported my small business and sent me so many kind words of encouragement. I feel connected to each and every one of my customers as they took the chance to shop ethical with a small business such as mine.
Meet Zhaoqi
Originally the name idea of our small business was inspired by my boyfriend Zhaoqi, as we started off our relationship as "RaveBaes". Without Zhaoqi's support, RaveBae would not be here! Zhaoqi's not only in charge of creating custom orders, but he also helps with shipping, deliveries, ideas, and most importantly, support and love! ♥
If you ordered a custom order, chances it was by Zhaoqi! :D
Our Goal
RaveBaeOutfit is a brand meant to be accessible to everyone, whether you are or aren't apart of the rave community! Our main goal is to spread plur, awareness, and provide cute and sparkly unique pieces for anyone and everyone! We offer all kinds of items such as stim and anxiety friendly pacifiers, perler art pieces and cat ears to spread self expression, and clothing that just makes you feel, CONFIDENT!
Our other goal as a couple, is to have an achievement that we can share together in the long term, and eventually save up to purchase a home for marriage, and start a family together! ♥
